On Saturday, September 21, from 10 am to 3 pm, Cosmic Comix is celebrating one of most important pop culture icons in history. It’s time for BATMAN DAY 2019!
The annual fan-favorite event, now in its sixth year, was first introduced to honor the iconic character’s 75th anniversary. Continuing the Batman Day tradition, Cosmic Comix will offer up Bat-centric promotions, giveaways and more, all to honor the character that has become a superhero to many generations and continues to inspire fans across the globe.
We’ll have a lot going on that day, CHECK IT OUT!!

This Special Edition reprints the 2017 one-shot spinning out of Dark Nights: Metal, written by James Tynion IV with art by Riley Rossmo and a cover by Jasn Fabok.
This reprint features a special card stock over cover with a mask of the Batman Who Laughs!

Our buddy Chris Vance will be here from 11 am - 3 pm doing sketches, absolutely FREE, for anyone who asks! His specialty is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but he’ll do anything you want!
As for a bio, his buddy Kurt said: "Chris Vance is an amazing comic artist! He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design. He is the lead artist and a head founder of the hilarious webcomic Bunnies On Fire. He’s done countless commissions and sketches for fans all over the country."
FUN GIVEAWAYS!
Over the past year we’ve been stockpiling a couple fun giveaways, saving them just for Batman Day! For starters, we’ll have vintage Batman Movie Trading Cards from 1987! These sealed, never-opened wax packs include nine cards, a sticker, and even a 30-year-old stick of bubble gum! (Feel free to eat the gum here in store so we can all have a good laugh!) We’ll also have Batman Buttons to give out, perfect for letting the know just what side your bread is buttered on, Batman vs. Superman-wise. We do have a good number of each, but obviously quantities are limited!
DRESS UP!
We encourage each and every one of you to come in your best Batman-related garb, be it as elaborate as full-on Batman cape and cowl or as simple as an evil Joker T-Shirt. We’ll be snapping pics and posting them on Instagram throughout the day and we want you looking your best!
The point is, it’s gonna be an all-out party, a celebration worthy of one of the greatest heroes ever created. And WE WANT YOU TO BE HERE!
