Unbelievable! This week makes three polls in a row that have been won by a landslide! The first two were Detective and Batman, and this week it was Hawkeye #3, which took down the competition with little to no difficulty. That in itself is not surprising, because it was excellent. What IS surprising is how perennial powerhouses Walking Dead and Chew were relegated to sixth and seventh place, respectively!
As for this week, Rusty noted with a touch of sadness that it was the end for several Marvel series. But ultimately he had to give the nod to three NON-Marvel books in the form of Fables, Cobra and I Vampire! I, myself, really dug the Madame X one-shot! But what about you?

I have Ghosts coming out next week, I’m confused.
I read all the nominees that I get, which is most of them and I Vampire gets my vote. It has done a great job of flipping the entire story and now Andrew is the bad guy. Joshua is producing a great comic book series and the art has matched the tone of the book to a “T”.
Ghost as the series, not Ghosts the Vertigo one shot. Stupid “S” threw me off.
What is the mysterious book tied for first right now.
Had to go with J.I.M. Great bookend to an incredible run. Well done Gillen.
Hey fellow voters, if you think another book (not on the list) is the best of the week please let the rest of us know so that we can have the option of picking it up. That is unless we don’t already get it.
I’m giving the nod to Avengers #32. Glad to see Bendis is resolving (undoing?) some of the things he’s done over the past few years: bringing back Wasp, giving Wonder Man a chance at redemption. And it wasn’t everyone sitting around a table or using talking heads! Nice art, too. Plus I was an old Micronauts fan.
Secret Avengers would have taken #1 if the art was better.
New Avengers was a good idea, told poorly, with worse art.
Flash #13 gets an honorable mention. I’m on the fence about dropping it; this might make me keep up for a few more months.
