Best Book of the Week Poll – October 19
Not unlike the way Detective Comics totally abused the poll a couple weeks ago, Batman #13 likewise took every other title to school in last week’s poll. It was an absolutely devastating victory! Punk Rock Jesus tried to put up a little fight — and rightly so, because it was fantastic — but in the end the return of the Joker proved too much.
As for this week, Rusty may have tried to dazzle you with his love of AVX Consequences, but I have a feeling that many of you are going to go with the likes of Chew #29 or Hawkeye #3 or Walking Dead #103! Though I personally happened to really like the end of the American Vampire: Lord of Nightmares mini-series. People got blowed up! Anyway, enough about us…

I agree Hawkeye #3 was really good this week. Once again, Hawkdog makes an appearance.
Daredevil is back on track with a few weaker issues in the series, and it was really awesome how it is ties back to the first issue of this run. Batwoman was surprisingly strong with both visuals and the story is rather interesting. Once again, a great depiction of Wonder Woman whereas the Justice League version just feels like ‘that girl on the team who is strong.’
Lots of great books this week, but I would put those as my top 3.
