Highlights for Wednesday, September 19: Everything Else

Walking Dead #102Gotta lead with Walking Dead #102 this week! It’s been a tough chapter in the lives of our survivors and, this being the final part of the "Something to Fear" story arc, I have to imagine it’s about to get even tougher. I just hope it doesn’t involve a machete… I have a weak stomach!

"SOMETHING TO FEAR" concludes! The survivors attempt to pick up the pieces after what they’ve just lived through.

IDW’s Cobra #17 also comes out this week. The previous issue featured an unbelievable fight between Lady Jaye and Ronin and reminded us yet again why this series is one of the best titles in comics. And this issue promises the return of Major Bludd! Can’t wait.

Next up, from Dark Horse, there’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Spike #2 (of 5)! Spike, traveling in his steampunk ship with a crew of cockroach-like aliens and a batch of previously stranded demons, is headed back from the dark side of the moon to… Sunnydale. Look out!

Ghost #0Finally, also from Dark Horse, check out Ghost #0! Ghost actually debuted in 1993 as part of Dark Horse Comics’ Greatest World series. The fan-favorite title ran for ten years and featured crossovers with Hellboy, X, The Mask, and Barb Wire. Ghost returned this summer in Dark Horse Presents #13, with the new incarnation being written by Kelly Sue DeConnick and illustrated by Phil Noto. This zero issue, collecting the Ghost stories from Dark Horse Presents, kicks off a new monthly series!
