As for the winner of last week’s poll, I have just one word for you: SHAZAM! That’s right, Justice League #0, which featured an excellent Shazam story by Geoff Johns and Gark Frank, took down the victory. It just edged out Fables #121, which concluded the excellent Cubs in Toyland story arc. Other contenders included Cobra #17 and Spider-Men #5 (of 5). It wouldn’t surprise me to see all of these in the heavyweights in the Best Books of the Month post tomorrow!
As for this week, Rusty put together a solid and reputable list of nominees, which included Before Watchmen: Ozymandias #3, the first issue of Grant Morrison’s Happy, the stunning Rachel Rising #11, I Vampire #0 and more. I also took the liberty of adding a few to the poll myself, like Hit-Girl #3 and Goon #42 (which can basically never do wrong in my book). But enough about us!
