A solid voter turnout for last week’s poll led to several title vying for the top spot. But, there had to be a winner. And that winner — the best book of the week as determined by you, the people — was Rachel Rising #10! Great choice. But like I said, it was a close race and Scalped #60 and I Vampire #12 were both only behind by one vote! All three of those titles are well within the top ten of our Best Current Series list… or at least they WILL be.
Moving on to this week, Rusty put up several nominees for your consideration, but I also added in a few of my own! The Goon #41 was good as always, while Journey into Mystery #642 kicked off "Everything Burns"… and everything is quite literally burning! Speaking of everything burning, Spaceman #9 brought that mini-series to a close and Locke & Key turned out a solid one-shot.Plus there was plenty more! But enough about me…

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Morning Glories makes its way onto the list with no mention in the preview write-up?? I normally buy that series in TPB and even my daughter reads them when I’m finished. Is there a surprise on the horizon that I do and don’t want to know about? Hmm, do I need to make room for that in my subscription box? No, really, I could move a few things around to squeeze it in there.
I voted for BW Minutemen, but could have easily voted for AV #30, hands down two books that were well done and great story telling by the creators.
