A slightly lower voter turnout in this past week’s poll (perhaps everyone’s on vacation), but no matter! DC Comics’ epic vampire story I Vampire #10 came away with the victory, eking out a win over the ever-in-contention Aquaman #10.
As for this week, we can all celebrate the independence of These United States… by picking our favorite comic books in the poll! And if you happen to be voting from abroad, just imagine that it is your own country you are celebrating. We are equal opportunity patriots around here! Now…

Enough. Earth 2 was horrible. One of the worst written comics ever.
UH-OH! Ken didn’t like it. At all. Does make me curious…what’d ya vote for? – Rusty
Glad I missed it. My vote was for Fury.
Not the worst comic ever written, but it is far from being the best of the week. Earth 2 is suffering from endless set up syndrome and horrible costumes. Plus the green vs the gray is an echo of the red and green vs the rot. I’m enjoying Earth 2, but only because the new DCU has been weak with so many books mediocre seems good. My vote went to BW Ozymandias.
Congratulations. You agree with me and therefore are correct! Dissenting opinions are of course welcome. And winning as of now! – Rusty
Sorry, I disagree. Earth-2 has continued to perform well, I was really hesitant about it, being an “old school” JSA fan, but I think Robinson is doing well within the “Nu” Earth-2 universe.
I’ve gotta show some love for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe #1. Perhaps it’s nostalgia from my childhood or my fanboy obsession with all things James Robinson, but I enjoyed it.
I enjoyed it too. He-Man was far better than expected and I will give all the credit to James Robinson. – Rusty
I vote BW Ozzie…eih eih eih eih. But this is far from an OMG pick. Most other books were subpar. I have mixed feelings about Earth-2, but it is far better than that piece of garbage JLA. Still reading both, so there it is.
I stopped JL (no more A) and will buy the trade of the Shazam stuff, JL is the New PU DCU.
