Best Book of the Week Poll – July 13
We got a TON of action on last week’s poll, and it actually turned into one of the more heated debates in recent Cosmic Comix history! And much of the controversy had to do with Earth 2 #3, and whether or not it was actually a good comic or not. Either way, it ultimately won your vote for best book of the week, so there are at least a few people out there who dig it! The conversation also took a sharp turn toward the Justice League, which we just might have to address this weekend… Stay tuned!
As for this week, we’ve got another solid line-up of books for you to choose from. The second issue of Before Watchmen: Minutemen, plenty of AVX action, a Chew special, Conan, Batman, Cap, Jesus and more! So…

Yet to read everything yet, but Poyo was too funny and outrageous to not be the best book of the week. You forgot a contender with Revival from Image, it was a nice start to a very different “undead” book, not Zombies, but the dead are still alive.
I enjoyed a lot of what I read this week – Captain America, Conan, Dark Avengers/Thunderbolts, New Avengers, Suicide Squad. But I’m going to throw a bone to a newer series, Bad Medicine #3. I really enjoyed the FCBD issue, and now picked up the rest. Art is a bit heavily inked, but works. Kind of a “Fringe” type of premise. Too bad they introduced a new character to the team only to have him (spoiler) torn to shreds by werewolves at the end. If #4 is as good as the first 3, this could become a regular pull.
