Highlights for Wednesday, June 13: Everything Else

This week’s new comics highlights kick off, as they always do, with the Everything Else category! It includes Image, Dark Horse, IDW and all the other non-Marvel or DC publishers out there! We’ll start with the aforementioned Image Comics and Invincible #92. Original Invincible Mark Grayson is still missing in action (sort of) while new Invincible Zandale is getting plenty of action!

CORY WALKER RETURNS TO INVINCIBLE… AGAIN! What has been going on with Monster Girl and Robot? What happened to them while they were in the Flaxan dimension? All answers will be revealed – starting now! Meanwhile, trouble is brewing in the present and the New Invincible is already in over his head! All this – and where is Mark Grayson?!

Also this week, look for Cobra Ongoing #14! The last issue we voted as the best book of the month for May, as the series takes on a whole new direction. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the Joe’s and their new ally… Tomax!

Plus of course there’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 9 Freefall #10. There’s plenty in store for one of the funnest reads in comics! While Buffy is undertaking an away mission with Spike and Andrew, the SFPD is starting to really feel the effect of the rapid "zompire" population growth.

And don’t miss Kiss #1! It’s the start of a new series featuring the legendary rock band. "Four ordinary humans in 1920s Chicago find themselves caught up in a battle of epic proportions that will reverberate across time and space in part one of ‘Dressed to Kill’!" Imagine this: prohibition era gangsters with Kiss make-up.

Finally, there’s Conan the Barbarian #5. This could turn out to be a very good week for Brian Wood as we’re set to get not only this issue of Conan, which has been an outstanding series, but also Massive #1 (which we’ll talk about later today)!
