Highlights for Wednesday, May 9: Marvel Comics

For a while there, Rick Remender’s Uncanny X-Force was pound for pound the best X-book on the shelves. The tales of the X-Men’s secret black ops team, in particular the return of Apocalypse, were downright awesome. The book then lost a bit of its spark for a while. But with this week’s Uncanny X-Force #26, which kicks off a brand new chapter, hopefully X-Force is back, baby!

Finally, we have to give it up for the newest series in the Marvel Zombies canon: Marvel Zombies Destroy #1. I believe this is the sixth or seventh Marvel Zombies mini-series and just about all of them have been entertaining. Hard not to love Howard the Duck!
