Lots of comics to choose from today! So many cool images and new storylines from all corners. So many in fact that I almost felt like I was at the heart of The Hunger Games, staring into a cornucopia at a massive stockpile of supplies, unable to decide between a bow and arrow and a length of rope. Thanks to my survival skills, however, I did not freeze up and, hence, take a knife to the brain. I made my decisions with a vengeance! Thus, it can be said that the four covers below are truly the BEST COVERS OF THE DAY. And may the odds that that statement is true be ever in my favor.

You probably saw this cover in my highlight on Monday, but it was just too good not to include again here. You’ve got what appears to be, starting with the smallest, a centipede coming out of a snake’s mouth coming out of a dog’s mouth coming out of a lion’s mouth! Boy, the food chain is a sure crazy thing alright! 

And I tell you, if I were sleeping while this was going on and then happened to wake up? That centipede would freak me right out. Lions and dogs and snakes I can handle. But centipedes are too much. All those legs give me the shivers just to think about.
