Thief of Thieves #1

Thief of Thieves #1 This week sees the release of a new series from Image Comics featuring some of its biggest creators, most notably Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman! It’s called Thief of Thieves, and for this series Kirkman is tapping into his television experience. As you know, Walking Dead has been a huge hit and I guess Kirkman enjoys the writing style so much that he’s bringing it to comics.

"Having worked on the Walking Dead TV show," Kirkman said recently, "I’ve really fallen in love with the way that TV shows are written, where a bunch of people get together and they plot stuff and people split off into their own little splinter groups and write episodes. I think that’s a really neat way to tell stories and something that could be utilized in comics more often."

So it’ll be a whole crew of writers working on this series, with the first arc written by Nick Spencer (Morning Glories).
