 Two in a row for Image Comics! This time, we’ve got a brand new series from Joshua Luna, who you might recognize as one half of the Luna Brothers, creators of The Sword and Girls. We liked those series very much and we eagerly await this one, called Whispers. From what we’ve read, Whispers has a strong supernatural feel to it, while at the same time exploring some of the more profound questions of our existence, like how much of what we do on a daily basis are we truly in control of.

 A couple weeks ago we wrote about how much we’ve been enjoying a series from Image Comics called The Strange Talent of Luther Strode. As we said then, "It’s funny, it’s violent, it’s over the top, and we love it." (You should also check out the video trailer for the comic in that post.) We still have a few copies of issues #1, 2 and 3 in stock so if you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, do so! The fourth issue comes out this Wednesday and we’re definitely looking forward to it.

 Yep, we’ve got just one more week of 50¢ comics for you! More on that in a minute… First, a few notes about the Whiz Bangs we’ve got lined up for you in 2012!
As you know, the Whiz Bang is our weekly special here at Cosmic Comix, in which we offer up comics, action figures, trade paperbacks or any number of other goodies at bargain prices. It’s something different every week and we post the new Whiz Bang each Monday! For the past few weeks it’s been 50¢ comics, but there’s only a week left in that Whiz Bang we’ll be kicking off 2012 proper next week! Here are some Whiz bangs to look for in the year ahead:
