Justice League #3, Batman #3

Justice League #3They’ve been arguably the two biggest titles in DC Comics’ New 52…and arguably the two best! Our luck that they come out on the same week of the month and we get to enjoy them one after the other. In Geoff Johns and Jim Lee’s Justice League #3, looks like Wonder Woman is joining the band (remember, this is five years before the rest of the DCU). While over in Batman #3, Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo continue to weave their outstanding murder mystery.

Fear Itself #7.3, Fearless #3

Fear Itself #7.3So far, the Fear Itself "Point" books — Fear Itself #7.1 and 7.2 — have proven to be outstanding epilogues to the event itself. The first issue was strong enough to win Rusty’s pick for Best Book of the Week, while the second issue totally established the new status quo for Thor!

With this week’s Fear Itself #7.3, the epilogues comes to a close and we focus on the third of the big three core Marvel heroes, Iron Man. As good as the previous two have been, I have to think this one is must-reading for you Marvel people out there!

Fearless #3We’re also looking at the the third issue of Fearless. If you haven’t checked this one out yet, we definitely recommend it. Both the first and second issues have been nominated for Best Book and, even if you think you’re sick of Fear Itself at this point, Fearless is making for a great read. (And yes, we’ve still got the first two issues in stock.) Got to find those missing hammers!

Watchmen Busts for $24.99!

Aside from all the swell new comics we’re getting in this week, we’re also getting in some very cool WATCHMEN busts! The Comedian, Dr. Manhattan and Silk Spectre! Each one is hand-painted, cold-cast porcelain and right around 6" tall. And this week we’re making each one available for just $24.99! Normally they’re $69.99 each, so this is a fantastic deal.

We also got in a very cool Comedian 1/6 scale action figure. This sucker is huge and normally would have a price tag of $125. But he, too, will be just $24.99!
