Two of our favorite series from Image Comics hit the racks this week… heck, they’re two of our favorite series PERIOD! We’re talking about Robert Kirkman’s Walking Dead and Scott Snyder’s Severed. Both titles would definitely be filed under horror, but they are completely different from one another.
You probably know what Walking Dead is: a very deliberately paced zombie survival story, the human drama set on the stage of a zombie apocalypse. Always in our top five ongoing comics. While you might not know what Severed is: a period horror piece, more psychological in nature. It’s impressed us from the jump, as most Scott Snyder comics have, and we definitely recommend it.
