You’ll be pleased to know, readers, that in honor of this week’s Whiz Bang — Star Trek figures for $3.99 — I have decided to watch all seven seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation straight through. Two episodes a day, starting today. Thank the stars for Netflix Instant! This will put a serious crimp in my plan to finish Deep Space Nine, but the siren call of one Deanna Troi is too much to resist.
Of course, I have found time in my busy TV-watching schedule to bring you four fine comic book covers, none of which are related to Star Trek in any way.
DC UNIVERSE PRESENTS #2
Cover by Ryan Sook
Ryan Sook is quickly rising in the ranks of my favorite cover artists and may soon find himself in the heralded ranks of the Best Covers of the Day Hall of Fame (BCODHOF). His Deadman cover on today’s DC Universe Presents only adds to his growing legacy.
Poor Boston Brand! Every time he tries to get a word out, another little version of him comes out! "Hey! I just want to say one thing! GLARPHRHPH!" And on and on to infinity. It’s like that scene in Alien (and also Spaceballs)… except without the alien… and without the chestbursting. So I guess it’s not really like that at all… MOVING ON!
