Fear Itself #3

Fear Itself #3While DC’s Flashpoint may be hitting its stride, Marvel’s event Fear Itself is also having a big week! The big release is of course  FEAR ITSELF #3., the third installment in the seven-issue main series. But we’re also getting Fear Itself: Deep #1 and Marvel U tie-in’s Thunderbolts #158 and Herc #4!

As The Worthy’s campaign of mayhem burns worldwide, Sin comes closer than ever at completing the one task her father never could – the complete conquest of the Marvel Universe! It’s been really good so far. We’ll see if issue #3 can keep it up!

FEAR ITSELF #3 (OF 7)

Written by MATT FRACTION
Penciled by STUART IMMONEN

The blockbuster Marvel event of the year continues! Sin leads the most audacious attack on American soil the world has ever seen as global panic sets in and we fall sway to the power of fear itself. On Asgard, Loki hatches the scheme to end all schemes. And everywhere, the Serpent’s presence is felt…never moreso than when a major Marvel hero falls at his hands. The shock ending to end all shock endings…as the cycle of evil stretching millennia is at last completed.

Marvel Comics’ Fear Itself #3 comes in on Wednesday!

Rocketeer Adventures #1And if you’re not moved by either Flashpoint or Fear Itself, I have to tell you we’re getting more issues of Rocketeer Adventures #1 in stock! This was the under-the-radar book that Rusty picked as his best book of the week when it came out and almost pulled off a coup for the #1 book of the month!

As Rusty said, "Three short stories. No continuity. No building a plot. Although each short had a beginning, middle, and end. And they all ended on a high note. John Cassaday… Mike Allred… Kurt Busiek and Mike Kaluta… Just three flat out cool shorts by some of the biggest names in comics today"
