Andy’s Whiz Banging this week. Fantastic deal on some Marvel action figures. Two figures plus a comic for less than the price of a regularly priced single figure! To which I can only say… Whiz Bang!

I’m just talking comics today. And No. This is not rant about how terrible comics are. Sorry. Don’t believe that anyway. No matter how bad you might have thought BRIGHTEST DAY #23 was. Comics are great! If you don’t like the comics you’re reading… find some new comics!

Already talked about the best books of the week on Thursday. And check out the Top Twenty if you’re looking for something new to read. Excellent comics one and all.

But today is Monday. Time to complain, critique and comment. Although I don’t have too much to talk about this week. I do have comics going straight to Hell!

And it’s killing me! The JLA went to Hell this week in JLA 80 PAGE GIANT 2011 #1. Yep. 80 pages of hellish action. The SECRET SIX #32, which also shipped this week, is currently in Hell fighting for a get out of Hell free card. Just finished up a Nancy in Hell mini-series. Had a whole bunch of Thor/Hela Asgardian Hell stories a few months ago. Wolverine, Daken and X-23 just got out of hell. Namor is still in Hell. Think he’s found any water yet?

C’mon guys. It’s not that interesting of a place. Seen one Hell, you’ve seen them all. Comic stories do tend to run in cycles and right now we are totally stuck in Hell. Gimme that get out of Hell free card! Please…
