I will be keeping it short today and go with simply Scalped #47.

Last couple of weeks I’ve picked some surprises, some shocks, some different books, not this week.

Scalped is awesome. If only all comics were this good.

To seemlessly reintroduce a character we haven’t seen for probably two years, one eyed Dino, in both a stand only one shot, Dino loves Carol!, and at the same time teasing for more to come from Dino in the future, killin’ a comin’, was just fantastic. As it always is. Read it up!

Looking over last week’s poll, it seems we have a clear winner: Witchblade #143! In a landslide! I know, I know. I was a little surprised, too, frankly. But the people have spoken and the votes have been cast. Congrats to all!

Now we must turn our attention to this week, and a powerful week it was indeed. Just look at the books on Rusty’s list of nominees!
