Cosmic Comix Conversation #29

What’s that I hear? A Final Crisis book came out. Thought that was over.
What does the Black Flash have to do with the Free Comic Book Day Blackest Night #0? Hopefully nothing.

Do we have to relive the 90′s? The New Mutants, Stryfe, and Shatterstar seem to think so. What’s going on with Wolverine #73? Where’s my Old Man Logan? Gladiator switches sides and Norman Osbourn continues his Dark Reign. Better watch out Steve Rogers may be back soon!

Superman shows up in Irredeemable, Savior 28 and the Mighty. How is that even possible? Will Carl ever kill Papa Rick? Maybe, he’s been practicing. Could Umbrella Academy actually make any sense? And what if you got arrested for writing a comic book? Unthinkable!

Last but not least we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to talk  X-Men Origins Wolverine, Star Trek Countdown, and of course the season finale of Lost! Enjoy!

Looking Forward to July: DC Comics

BLACKEST NIGHT #1 (OF 8)

Written by Geoff Johns
Art and cover by Ivan Reis & Oclair Albert

Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis raise the dead in the most anticipated comics story of the year! Throughout the decades, death has plagued the DC Universe and taken the lives of heroes and villains alike. But to what end?

As the War of Light rages on, the prophecy of the Blackest Night descends upon us, with Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps at the center of it all.

You’ve been hearing about it for a while now, and the Free Comic Book Day issue Blackest Night #0 was a great teaser. It’s the biggest event of the year for the DCU, and some would even say the biggest event in comicdom for the year. Cool cover, too!
