You may have noticed in the comments area a little spot for an avatar next to each comment. For those who don’t know, an avatar is simply a little picture that represents you online, like the one at right. If you want your own personal avatar for commenting on the Cosmic Comix website, it’s very easy:
All you have to do is go to Gravatar.com and sign up!
Gravatar is short for "globally recognized avatar" and when you sign up on that site your avatar will pretty much follow you all over the Internet, or at least where gravatars are recognized.
And if you happen to have a blog that’s powered by WordPress software, you can log in to Gravatar with your WordPress information (they’re run by the same company).
So go get yourself an avatar and join the fun!
