I noticed a few themes in the covers for this week’s comics, namely, scantily clad women. Has this always been the case with comic books and I’ve just never noticed it? I’m serious, man, there were body parts sticking out all over the place! One in particular… the, ahem…. derriere. How can we as good readers stand by while this is happening?! I demand justice! I demand the non-objectification of women! I demand… oh, nevermind. They’re pretty to look at.

Having never read Echo, I have absolutely no idea what it’s about. BUT, since it’s written by Terry Moore, I’m going to make an educated guess that this dude on the cover is in a confusing three-way love triangle with another older man, who may or may not be gay, and a woman who is desperately in love with that man.

My other theory is that he is in the middle of making one of those wax hands like they have at the boardwalk in Ocean City and he is really pissed off because we interrupted him.

"I was going to make the ‘Hang Loose’ sign and now look what you’ve made me do!"
