It’s another fine week of comics this week. Personally, I am looking forward to several issues, including the latest installment in the Final Crisis saga and 100 Bullets. Unfortunately, I know nothing about the comics below, which is exactly what makes me so enthusiastic to review their covers.

Bomb Queen #4

This cover actually kind of confuses me a little (as if any of them DON’T confuse me). Is that large cylinder in the foreground supposed to be her left foot? Also, what’s up with her jaundiced face? And I guess it could have gone without saying, but her underpants totally defy the laws of physics.

I do dig those bomb shoulder pads, though. They remind me of Bob-omb from the Super Mario Bros. games. And also the opening credits of DangerMouse. So basically anything that has anything to do with old school style bombs… which are just all-around awesome.
